Finally finished all the paperwork for a new kit and its ready to order now. My interpretation of the striking Smeaton’s Tower Lighthouse on Plymouth Hoe, Devon… I am a little obsessed by lighthouses and I especially love Smeaton’s Tower. It was a wonder of architecture and all that.. but mostly its just really visually striking and looks like what I picture when I imagine a lighthouse..( it also has a great swashbuckling name !)
This Kit is also the largest so far being 13″ x 5″ (33 x 13 cms) so you just need to find a tall thin gap on your wall to hang your finished kit.
This is also one of my first kits to contain different thickness of threads, so the chunky 4 strand for the White clouds to graduates down into thinner strands to give great definition and texture to the picture. The Key cleary states how many strands and whether each stitch is half or cross stitch so you just have to follow the key..
The kit is completed in 14 Count Aida includes 21 Vibrant Anchor Thread Colours and is stitched in Half Cross Stitch and Cross Stitch Only, no pesky fractional’s so is pretty easy. The kit includes all you need to complete the finished stitch art.
